The artist behind the Wicked Wild Works

I’m a Midwest-raised designer who started out building furniture and somehow ended up building brands instead. Turns out, the same rules apply, just fewer splinters.

I graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2017 with a BFA in Furniture Design, where I learned how to obsess over details, structure, and why something feels right, even if you can’t explain it. That mindset never really left. It just traded woodshop tools for a mouse and way too many open tabs.

Now I work as a Graphic Designer at Big Frig, creating designs that don’t just sit there looking pretty. They have a job to do. Whether it’s on a shelf, a screen, or in someone’s hands, the goal is the same: make it stand out and make it work.

I’ve lived all over the Midwest, which means I don’t overcomplicate things. I believe good design should be clear, a little clever, and built to last, not just chase trends until they burn out.

These days I’m based in Wakefield, Nebraska, designing things, fixing things, and occasionally staring at a layout like it personally offended me until it behaves.
